The bunker shot is a very dreaded shot and most of us are scared of it. However, once you practice it a bit and get the hang of it they aren't that hard.
They actually say bunkers are the easiest shot in golf (I don't believe them. )
How to play a bunker shot
Dig your feet in You want to make sure if the sand is a bit loose that you aren't going to slip around
Put a little more weight on your left side This will create that downward strike to help get the ball out
Then hit about an inch behind the ball If you put a line through the sand, place the ball in front an inch and focus on hitting the line with a full swing making sure to follow through and splash the sand out.
