Lawn Bowls

A great drill to put at the beginning of your putting session.

This will help you get a feel for the speed and power needed in your putt.

Drill

- Stand a few meters away from the hole

- Hold the golf ball in your dominate hand

- A roll the ball towards the hole

AIM: Get the ball in the hole, or close, just like a putt.

Have a few more goes and once you get the feel of that distance, move back slightly and have another few goes.

Around the world putting drill
Around the World drill set up

Around the world

- Place 8 golf balls around hole 2 feet away and equal distance apart

- Try to putt them all in without missing

- If you miss you must start again

This drill is also great for putting under pressure as the more putts in a row we sink, the more our brain likes to panic.
